Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) has been the darling of the datacenter for the past 4 years, but there is a new contender in the datacenter distributed HCI. Where as HCI locks administrator into scaling storage with compute dHCI frees administrators from this artificial constrains and allows datacenters to grow in a more organic way.
