KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2018 was held in Seattle from Dec. 10-13, and sold out with more than 8,000 attendees – an 83% increase in attendance from the previous year, which just goes to show the increase in interest in Kubernetes (K8s), cloud-native computing, and their development and operational tools. In this article, I give a brief overview of five technologies and subjects that caught my eye at this conference.
